How do I synchronize the images in my gallery?

During your observation sessions, you have the option to save your images to the gallery of the Singularity app.
These images are stored locally on your mobile device (smartphone or tablet). To access them from other devices or to keep them safely backed up, you can synchronize them with our servers.

How can I tell if an image is synchronized?
As long as your device is connected to the instrument's Wi-Fi signal, the saved images remain local.
You will see a small cloud icon at the top right corner of each photo in your gallery.
This indicates that the image has not yet been synchronized with our servers.

How to trigger synchronization:
1. Connect your device to the internet (via home Wi-Fi or mobile data 4G/5G).
2. Keep the Singularity app open.
3. Navigate through different tabs in the app (e.g., Space Center, Catalog, Plan My Night...).
4. The synchronization will automatically begin in the background.
⏳ Depending on your connection quality and the number of images, synchronization may take a few minutes.

Important notes:
Only images saved after signing in to a Vaonis account can be synchronized across multiple devices.
Unsynchronized images will remain only on the device used during the observation.
