Note: Two types of updates are available:
- Singularity application update: This must be done first.
- Embedded software update: This applies to the software in your Stellina or Vespera observation station.
Our newsletter, titled "A New Update Is Now Available," includes the latest version numbers for both updates. These updates may introduce new features, optimizations, image processing settings, bug fixes, and display adjustments. We strongly recommend keeping your station up to date to ensure optimal performance.
Steps to Update Your Observation Station:
- Update the Singularity application: Visit your app store (App Store or Google Play Store) to install the latest version.
- Start your station and connect: Open the Singularity app, turn on your station, and connect to its Wi-Fi network.
- Initiate the update: In the Space Center section of the app, you will find an update button. Tap it and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Stay close to your station: Remain near the station during the update process. Do not power off your station or its battery. The update may take 5 to 10 minutes, during which the button will remain blue. You can monitor progress from the app.
- Avoid pressing the power button during restart: During the restart phase, the power button will stay blue. Allow the process to complete without interference.
- Verify network availability: Once the update is finished, wait a few minutes and check that your station's Wi-Fi network reappears.
Important Tips:
- Do not power off or restart your station at any point during the update process.
- Ensure that your station remains powered and within range of your mobile device to avoid interruptions.
