FileZilla is a free FTP client that allows you to access and download files from your Vespera's internal memory. It can offer more stability than your operating system’s default file manager.

🔒 Important: Before you begin, please ensure that you have disabled any VPN, firewall, or antivirus software that might interfere with the connection. These services can block the communication between your computer and Vespera.

1. Connect to Vespera’s Wi-Fi
   Ensure your computer is connected to your Vespera's Wi-Fi network before launching FileZilla.
2. Launch FileZilla
3. Enter the Host Information
   In the "Host" field at the top, type:
   10.0.0.1
   Then click on "Quickconnect".
4. Access Vespera’s Internal Memory
   Once connected, you will see two main folders:

   • SYSTEM (for internal use only — we recommend not modifying anything here)
   • USER (this is where your observation data is stored)
5. Navigate to Your Observations

   • Open the USER folder.
   • You will see folders for each observation session.
   • Open the folder of your choice, then navigate to:
     • 01-pointing-initial (initial pointing data)
     • 02-images-initial (your raw and processed images)
6. Download Files

   • Right-click on any image or folder you want to download and select "Download".
   • You can download individual files, multiple files, or entire folders.
7. Confirm File Transfer

   • A progress bar will appear at the bottom of the FileZilla window.
   • Once the transfer is complete, the file(s) will be saved locally on your computer in the destination folder specified in FileZilla’s settings (usually your default Downloads folder unless otherwise specified).
