How to locate your observation images in the telescope's saved files?

To access the images saved by Vespera, you first need to connect to the telescope via FTP. To learn how to do this, please refer to the following help guide: FTP process.

The files are organized by observation in the "user" folder.
An additional folder named "expert mode" contains your calibration images (darks) if you have saved any.

To access the images from a particular observation:

1. Open the observation folder, then the folder named "images-initial".

2. If you performed a framing adjustment during your observation, the images saved after the adjustment are located in the "images-adjust-framing" folder.

Each folder contains images in various formats according to the recording preferences you set in Singularity (JPEG, TIFF, FITS). The folder also includes files ending with the JSON extension. These are not images but files containing metadata related to the captured images. You shouldn't need these files to use the images.
